Norman A. Garcia, P.Eng., LEED AP BD+C
Norman Garcia graduated B.S. Civil Engineering from the University of the Philippines in 2000, moved to Winnipeg in 2011, and became a professional engineer in Manitoba in 2015.
That same year, Norman founded Mr. Peg Property Inspections, a company that advocates green building design and sustainable construction practices. Norman is a designated Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional specializing in Building Design + Construction (LEED AP BD+C). Norman also sits on the Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba’s Registration Committee that reviews applications of professionals wanting to practice engineering and geoscience in the province of Manitoba.
In 2017, Norman began practicing minimalism, mindful living and meditation, which helped him achieve happiness in the engineering practice. Outside of work and family, he trains and competes in Ironman triathlons and ultra-marathons barefooted.
Edwin C. Madera, P.Eng., CPI
Edwin Madera graduated B.S. Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Philippines in 1998, moved to Winnipeg in 2014, and became a registered professional engineer (P.Eng.) in Manitoba in 2018.
Edwin obtained his RME (Registered Mechanical Engineer) certification in 1998 and PME (Professional Mechanical Engineer) in 2013 from Professional Regulation Commission in the Philippines. He obtained is Certified Professional Inspector designation in 2018. Aside from doing home inspections, he is designing sheet metal and metal alloy products for architectural and construction purposes, and food industry.
He is active in doing volunteer work for community groups like UPAA-MB, FMC-EGM, Winnipeg Harvest and Siloam Mission. Outside of work and family, he is active in geek interests and dabbles in sport activities like badminton.
Aristedes C. Dayanghirang, P.Eng.
Aris graduated B.S. Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Philippines in 1998, moved to Winnipeg in 2007, and became a registered professional engineer (P.Eng.) in Manitoba in 2017.
Aris obtained his RME (Registered Mechanical Engineer) certification in 1998. Aris has an extensive background in custom metal equipment and surface drainage design using 3D CAD like Autodesk Inventor and Solidworks, and is knowledgeable in sheetmetal design and manufacturing processes.
He is also doing volunteer work for community groups like UPAA-MB and FMC-EGM. He likes to travel with his family, loves watching sports and concerts, and enjoys music by singing and playing a few instruments.
